Monica is an accomplished professional
with over 15 years of experience in strategic planning,
product management, marketing and communications. She is
recognized for her lateral thinking and her unique ability
to apply sophisticated models to transform innovative ideas
into viable and pragmatic business solutions. Monica helps
clients build innovative business plans and effective marketing
and communications plans.
Her expertise has helped organizations
build strategic plans, develop winning business models,
launch new products, and increase market share while continually
improving business results. She achieves success by thoroughly
considering the big picture, connecting the dots, assessing
overall implications and influencing decision-makers.
Monica began her career with IBM Canada
where she achieved early successes in marketing, sales and
product management. She was recognized for her achievements
by receiving numerous sales, special contribution and team
success awards. She then joined BMO Financial Group as an
IT Planning Consultant and after receiving the inaugural
CTO Award, received a succession of significant promotions
joining the executive ranks just 3 years later. As an executive,
her cadre of responsibilities included business experience
running the most frequented retail channel at the bank,
automated banking machines (ABMs), and leadership for E-business
product management, marketing and communications.
As a consultant, Monica has worked in
several industries including pharmaceutical, retail, technology
and financial services. She has assisted organizations with
strategic planning engagements, opportunity assessments,
service quality enhancements, and relationship management
effectiveness.
Monica’s rare combination of business acumen, technical
knowledge, sales achievements and strategic aptitude has
resulted in significant business outcomes and organizational
recognition.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Mathematics
with a Business Administration Option from the University
of Waterloo.
